To secure the physical, legal and economic safety of every working journalist in Pakistan; to defend the constitutional right to freedom of expression; and to ensure that no attack on a media worker passes without a national response.
We provide free legal counsel, emergency welfare assistance, professional training and a verified national press card to members in all four provinces, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and the federal capital.
A Pakistan where reporting is never a risk
A country in which journalists work without fear of violence, arbitrary detention or economic coercion — where newsrooms are independent, contracts are honoured and the public receives accurate information as a matter of course.
We pursue that vision through advocacy, litigation, training and sustained engagement with legislators, media owners and international press-freedom institutions.

Independence
